As it turned out, Pristaniste was a home for all of us, even if it was only for a short time, but where we were greeted with warm smiles: I was greeted by Lena Sokol and Natalia from Russia, who were Ukrainians. Ironically enough, I was on my way from the war started by the Russians.
Here in Prystaniste there are Russians who also fled, not only from the war, but from those Russians who support this war and kill us Ukrainians.
I don't know how many decades it will take for peace to come not only to our land, but to our souls.
But also the people who work here, they so sincerely give their warmth and part of their soul for Ukrainians and Russians alike, honor our common pain, and in particular the pain of my heart for those innocently killed children, mothers, soldiers who have been defending our land from the horde for months and days.

When we came to this country, new for us, it was very important to have here such a place, where somebody is waiting for you. We with a child, 2 cats, 4 suitcases after 3-days trip, appreciated the importance of such a project from our first days in Montenegro.
The most important was to be in a circle of like-minded people – all of us are quite different, but we have something in common – our humanistic values.

We lived here as one big family. We were helped to get to know Montenegro and to love it. We will definitely come to you again!

I arrived in Pristaniste on August 12. For 14 days of my stay I have been able to do quite a lot: to find a long-term housing to live, get decent wages, working at the constraction site, in general get used to Montenegro, and, what is the most important, to meet new people, whose worldview is similar to mine. It's so crucial in our crazy time to feel that you're not alone, and not out of your mind.
Everything I have written above, I could do thanks to the help of Pristaniste. Thank you all so much! Hvala!

It was scary to leave (but to stay in Russia was even scarier). The fear began to go away when I saw Natasha meeting us by taxi and having my rucksack over her shoulder. And further more and more: with every link having been sent by Natasha and Alena, with every kind word, with (wanted to say “every”) switched off burner under a forgotten frying pan, to which Alexander climbed over the balcony…

With each master-class our life became clearer and calmer.
Now, we go sailing alone!

We are very grateful to the Fund for support, for opportunity to have some rest, to have our thoughts together and to find a place for living. It`s very pleasant that when I got ill, suddenly had high temperature, when we had no medicine and my mother was on crutches and couldn`t go long way, Natasha, Maria, Oleksander gave us support as well as medicine, water and bread.
In such moments of despair your support was just in time and very necessary. You do very kind deeds, necessary for people. We wish the whole world health and prosperity!

Just one month ago it seemed to me that there wasn`t any hope. But then I went to an amazing place, and, step by step the hope came back. In Pristaniste everything is amazing: people, atmosphere, master-classes, and, of course, real help.

Endless thanks to everyone involved! The fact that the volunteers are very often the refugees themselves, admires me very much. Isn`t it the real love of a human being to another human being!

In the hardest moment of our life, in the moment of uncertainty and fear of the future. The moment we were on the street with our things as a family and we had no place to go... Pristaniste reached out to us, supported and comforted us... Somehow everything was so friendly, warm, positive that the stress we were under went away by itself. The help from your foundation was just invaluable! My family is just thankful that you met us in our not easy (at the moment) way of life. Frankly speaking, I have never met people like you ...
